What we do

Community Development

Five pillars that strengthen livelihoods and build resilient, self-reliant communities.

Food Security

Pillar 1

Food Security

We promote agro-economic development — improved farming methods, seed and input access, and value-chain support — so families can grow enough to eat and earn. Resilient livelihoods start with reliable food.

Current challenges
  • Erratic rainfall and recurring drought reduce harvests.
  • Limited access to quality seed, inputs and credit.
  • Post-harvest losses and weak market linkages.
Our solutions
  • Climate-smart and drought-tolerant farming training.
  • Group seed banks and bulk input access.
  • Value-chain support and market linkages for surplus produce.
Water & Sanitation

Pillar 2

Water & Sanitation

Clean water and improved hygiene transform health outcomes. We support boreholes, water points, latrines and community-led sanitation that reduce disease and free up time for school and work.

Current challenges
  • Long distances to unsafe water sources.
  • High burden of water-borne disease.
  • Few household and school latrines.
Our solutions
  • Boreholes and protected community water points.
  • Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) campaigns.
  • Hygiene promotion and latrine construction support.
Orphans & Vulnerable Children

Pillar 3

Orphans & Vulnerable Children

Through education support, school meals and psychosocial care, we help orphans and vulnerable children stay in school and grow up safe, healthy and hopeful.

Current challenges
  • Children dropping out due to school fees and hunger.
  • Limited psychosocial and protection support.
  • Stigma and lack of stable caregiving.
Our solutions
  • Education support, scholarships and school meals.
  • Counseling and child-protection case management.
  • Caregiver support and community mentorship.
Youth Development

Pillar 4

Youth Development

We equip young people with ICT skills, vocational training and job-market readiness — opening pathways to employment, enterprise and leadership in their communities.

Current challenges
  • High youth unemployment and underemployment.
  • Skills gaps and limited digital access.
  • Few pathways into enterprise or formal work.
Our solutions
  • Digital-competency and ICT training (with Mondo).
  • Vocational skills and entrepreneurship support.
  • Mentorship, internships and job-market readiness.
Emergency Relief

Pillar 5

Emergency Relief

When disaster or crisis strikes, we respond rapidly with relief and recovery support — helping affected families meet immediate needs and rebuild their lives.

Current challenges
  • Seasonal flooding displaces families.
  • Sudden shocks disrupt food and water access.
  • Slow recovery without coordinated support.
Our solutions
  • Rapid distribution of food, water and essentials.
  • Temporary shelter and recovery support.
  • Coordination with local authorities and partners.
